[Resolved] Kutchina / Bajoria Appliances — Company does not mention the price anywhere for the chimneys | |||
Hi ! I have an old Kutchina chimney. I wanted to service it so called up the company and a sales person came and told us that the earlier model (kutchina sleek) is very old and spare parts are not available and there is an exchange offer available so we can have Smartec BK model for 22, 999 and if we exchange the old chimney then we can have it for 20, 999. So we did pay them some advance. But we got little suspicious as we were not shown any pricelist, so were not sure if the price was correct or not. Therefore we did some search on the internet and realised that company does not display the MRP anywhere. I called up the call centre and they refused to tell me the price, instead told me that an agent will get in touch with me. Meanwhile I also checked for online price and the price for the model Smartec BK varies from 14, 447 to 15, 500. So now I am having a doubt as to what is company policy of not displaying the price either in their website or in the brochure or for that matter even when someone calls up their call centre. Is it that they plan to cheat the customer as much as they can ? Because a gullible customer will have to trust the sales person for the price and will never know if the price quoted by the agent is genuine or he is making a big margin for himself. I encountered them with online price and they tried to scare me by saying that online product are not genuine. So I have a serious doubt on the sale strategy of Kutchina and I feel they are not being fair to their customers and trying to make fast buck by trying to cheat their customers. I bought the model STANZA SS in November, 2012 and entered into a service contract with them. Their service has been extremely unsatisfactory throughout, to say the least. When they do not turn up for servicing, we have to make umpteen number of calls which go unanswered.
The machine has not been serviced for a long time and is gathering oil deposits. Soon it may stop functioning.
Will anyone kindly look into this and have the needful done immediately?
