[Resolved] Kutchina / Bajoria Appliances — non compliance of customer complaint | |||||
Dear sir, I have been using kutchina chimney (Model vogue ss) since 2007 october, recently motor of one of the fans got burnt. We made a complain in customer care on 11/07/2017 (Docket no.-[protected]). When nobody contacted me till 13/07, i searched the internet and located one kutchina service center in sector-5, (Dn-62) with telephone no. [protected]. They told me that they have received information from customer care to attend me. They also suggested to make amc for 5 years at a cost of rs. 5200/ to take care of present and future problems. I had no doubt about their genuinity and signed an amc by paying rs. 5200/-. On the same day evening i received another call from baguihati to inform me that customer care had asked them to take up the job. I had intimated them some other service center has done the job. When the party who signe amc, did not appear next day as promised and day after i called. There was no answer. I went to the address given, dn-62, sector-5, salt lake. This was a large office complex with no sign of any kutchina service center. When i became sure that i had been cheated, i contacted customer care again and made a fresh complain on 18/07 (Docket no. [protected]). When nobody responded by 20th july, i called customer care again. I was told kutchina needs 72 hours excluding the day of complain to attend any complain. Unfortunately even after 72 hours no body contacted us. To our surprise and horror, we noticed that there are many other bogus service providers registered on the internet as kutchina allows free registration without verifying their credentials. We also located another bogus address (Ae-361, sector-1 salt lake, tel no. [protected]). Since kutchina customer care takes unusually long time (4-5 days) to respond, these fraud stars collect information from customer care through their own sources and approach the customer to cheat them. It is difficult to understand when other large companies like lg, eureka fobes, sony etc respond within 24 hours of the complain made, why kutchina needs 4-5 days to respond? Why they allow free registration of other kutchina service providers without verifying their credentials. Is it intentional? Probably kutchina is not aware that their reputation is at stake which is getting eroded by such acts. What about my complain dated 18th july which remain unattended till now. Please act fast. P. K.
