Lakme — A Very Disappointing Service at a Lakme Salon in Bhubaneswar

Dear Sir / Madam, I feel mysel[censored]nfortunate enough to be writing a mail like this to such a brand name. I am a regular user of Lakme products from my teenage time. I love the products absolutely. Due to my satisfaction with the products I decided to visit Lakme Salon which was recently opened in my city - Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Since I have been satisfied about the products, I wanted to feel how is the service provided by "LAKME". As my B'day is tomorrow, i.e., 10th of April, my best friend wanted to gift me a foot spa and facial at a good salon. I did a research and wanted to go to Indulge, Salon in Bhubaneswar, but was very happy to see a Lakme Salon in Bhubaneswar and immediately booked an appointment 6 hours before hand for 2, myself and my friend Shahana, in the evening at 6 pm. I had also informed that I we will have a Facial and a Foot Spa. I reached the Salon 5 mins before 6 pm and my friend reached around 6:10 pm. There came a lady who advised me regarding what facial I should do as I had some dark spots on my skin as a result of previous pimples. After going through your service list... we decided to have a Flower Pedicure which included a massage and was priced at Rs. 650. My friend will have the Lotus absolute facial which was approximately Rs. 1100/- and I will have the ageless facial which was priced at approximately Rs. 1300/-. We actually planned to have the Foot Spa side by side as that was a long awaited dream of ours. Unfortunately that could not happen due to lack of man power. So they said when I will have my foot spa, my fried will have her facial and vice-versa. Little disappointed I was. As we were waiting I was called for pedicure and my friend had to wait for about 10 mins before she could start with her facial. As I was going through the pedicure... I was simply loving it, the massage was brilliant. I loved the way I was pampered by the girl from Manipur...named Aavi so something don't clearly remember. Cant thank her enough. While I was still in the pedicure... I felt something was wrong. The entire crew was gathered at a place and I think there was some shortage of manpower or something. I could understand they were talking about my facial which was still due. I thought... may be they will not be able to perform my facial and will tell me to come the next day or something. Still curious I waited for my pedicure to finish which lasted for more than an hour till 7 : 45 pm. Very satisfied with the results I was called to move to the next journey by the same girl who did my facial. Being pampered so well at the first phase...I was super excited for my facial as my expectation went quite high. I was taken to a room where I changed my clothes and started waiting. I waited and waited... no one came. then came the lady who when I had entered the salon advised me regarding what facial I should do. She told me to lie down and I was still surprised. Time was around 8:05 pm. As she started doing the basic clean up... I could understand she is not a facial lady as her hands were not meant for doing so. Of course this was not my first time in a facial and I can understand how a facial hand feels. She did the cleansing part... and as I was not feeling satisfied I was bound to ask her what about the girl who was to do my facial. Then she told me that she was doing the regular basic steps and the other girl is coming. To my surprise she also did not even know how to switch on the steamer. As I waited again for about 10 mins... came in another girl who was to do my facial. She came in started with my facial. While going through he procedure, she told me that, when I come next time... I should book an appointment first before coming. Surprised again... I said I had booked an appointment in the afternoon already for two people. She said .. Oh did you ? I said yes. So she advised its better if you book a day in advance. I said its fine. so she put on the steamer went out came in and again started with the massage and stuff which lasted for about 10 - 12 mins. Then she put a gel on my face and left the room exactly at 8 : 30. That means my basics started at around 8:10 and the I waited for her and I desperately needed to use the washroom. I decide when she come in I will tell her that I needed to go to the washroom and when I come back she can finish the facial procedures. I waited and was becoming restless. She came in at about 8:40 pm and I saw another girl who came in. I told her I desperately need to go to the washroom. So she said let me clean up and then you can. She cleaned up my face and started applying something which felt like a face serum. She told me I can go to use the washroom as the facial was OVER. Yes... IT WAS OVER. SHOCKED... SURPRISED... I AM FALLING SHORT OF ADJECTIVES... A Rs. 1300 facial which did not even have a massage of 13 mins. The entire procedure was over in less than 30 mins. Disappointed when I headed to the counter and the lady who was supposedly the owner asked me how was the facial. I could not control myself and clearly asked her whether a facial should take only 20 - 30 mins. A basic clean up should be around 40 mins with a 20 min massage, so accordingly a facial should be atleast for 1 hour. Again comes the first lady... who very nicely explained sing I had previous acne problem I should not be given a long massage and it was clear from her body language that she was trying to manage the situation. I was atleast thinking that may be since they did not provide me with good service they will feel bad or guilty and provide me with another session or atleast not charge for the facial. Surprised again... they took there payment and simply said a sorry if I was not satisfied. My friend had decided to do a hair colouring today at the salon... but she dropped the idea immediately after we left. So you have actually lost 2 dedicated Lakme Customers today. Another shocking thing was... we had 2 flower pedicures, one ageless facial and one lakme absolute facial, but the contents in the bill is again different. I will be attaching a soft copy of the bill for a clearer picture. the bill says we had 2 instant repair shots, one ageless facial and one body waxing... HOW RIDICULOUS. IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE? Janpath road bbsr lakme salon my foot. Such a damn ridiculous waste and worst parlour... if anybody wants to go and waste the tym and money thn plz goahead otherwise its just Worst for nothing. How the hell this is still continuing in bbsr. It should close for god shake. They dont even know the manner how to handle a customer how to provide a service. Noone knws anything proprly to do especiallyy straightning and facial. So guys plz dnt waste ur tym. N its rating should be -5 not even 1.
I thought they must have improved and focused on customers more. Disappointing to know that they are still the same ! Lakme's Brand name is being spoilt... thats all !
Was the most disgusting place I have ever been too. Not worthy of of being called a lakme salon. The owner are disgusting and don't know how to treat customers. I had 754 points to be redeemed and they refused to redeem because I went there for the first time.That was the last day to redeem my points(21st May 2016). So I thought I would redeem it in Bhubaneshwar.I don't know how lakme can give it's name to such horrible people owning the parlour . The best way to defame the brand name is by giving such people the owner. I wish I had believed the previous reviews.I am a regular customer of lakme salon . These kind of shops should stop and I want the cash back of 400 rs or else I won't mind going to the consumer court
