[Resolved] Lava Mobiles — Battery not manufactured for lava iris pro 30 smartphone!!! | |||||
Lava suddenly stops manufacturing battery for iris pro30 hand set. Is it acceptable as per consumer point of view and in terms of sales & service policy. Lava had sold this mobile to me and at that time they didn't told me that battery for this particular set won't be available in future. They had done a mis-selling to me. This can happen with other mobile phones of lava too, which will lead to consumer harassment and dissatisfaction. Should public buy lava phone if suddenly they stops making battery or other parts of their mobile set. I had purchased this mobile by an amount of rs. 12500/- but the battery didn't last for at least 2 years. Now when i am asking lava to provide me a new battery their reply is really insane and pathetic. Their service center told me that the battery is not available with them and lava has stopped manufacturing the battery which makes this set to fall under "return without repair - rwr" condition. It seems that lava has made profit by selling me a bad mobile which was of no use now and also stolen my hard earned money. This can happen to other consumers too. Kindly, help me to get the battery for this particular set at earliest.
