[Resolved] Lenovo — Mobile found completely shut down within 2 months of purchase | |||
Hi team, I had purchased my mobile [ motorola 4 g plus] from amazon on 4th feb' 2017. Within 2 months, it went completely shut down. I reported this immediately with motorola helpdesk who suggested me to carry the mobile in any one of the local service center as there is nothing they could do remotely since the mobile is completely shut down. I submitted with mobile with local service center in mysore [ sumrudi infocom services], high park building with iem reference : [protected] on 4th april. I was told if there is any hardware issue observed it might take a week's time to fix this. However even after 2 weeks that service center had not received any spare mother board identified as faulty. Every time i have been contacted service center, i have been given false promises that the spare is already received and it should be delivered in a day or 2 but this had not happened till now. When contacted today i am told that spares are not received yet. Not sure what's the actual status. Request you to look into the issue urgently. Apr 25, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved The motherboard for the mobile had been replaced now with new IMEI reference. The phone is now working fine. However when asked the service center if warranty period for new mother board to be extended accordingly now since its a new accessories, they denied and confirmed that phone still would continue with same warranty period as originally given during sales. This is unsatisfying, Lenovo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
