[Resolved] LG Electronics — lg delivered a defective product (led tv) and refuse for a replacement | |||
I bought a lg tv from vasanth & co tnagar, chennai and got it delivered to my father at kootapuli near nagercoil on 5th of january 2019 but the lg person came and installed the tv on 11th january 2019. After 11 days post installation my tv was not working and post complaint, the lg service man came for an enquiry & checked my tv and told that "its a manufacturing defect". I asked for a replacement since it was only 11 days old (From the date of installation). But the service person cum all representatives from lg to whom i spoke told that according to their warrant policy replacement is not possible since it’s a minor issue. I just want to know am not able to on my tv and i get no display. Even the red power light keeps on blinking. Is this a minor issue?? I have spent 37000 to buy this tv and in just 10 days how come a new tv can get repaired?? If it’s a manufacturing defect then you people have to replace my tv and not repair it. I want a replacement from lg. If replacement cannot be accepted then lg your please welcomed to come home and take your tv along with you. I neither need a defect product nor a serviced product which is brand new. And you people over there in lg think that your consumers are fools over here to get a defective product for rs. 37000. Please look into this issue with immediate effect. I still wonder how come a well-known company lg can deliver a defective product to its customer. As i mentioned you can either replace the tv or take the tv along with you. Please i don’t need a defective product. Do the needful the earliest.
