I placed a call to lg service call center on july 2019 for servicing my fridge.
A lg service guy mariappan ([protected]) came to my home checked the fridge and told me that he had to change the board (6 blinking light in board) of the fridge as its out of warrenty i had to pay 5000 rs.
I paid him 5000 on august 3.
After i paid he brought a board and told me he ordered the correct board but he got the wrong board and told me he will reorder the correct board.
He bought another board and the same 6 time led blinked, then he told me he has to change the compressor.
He told the same story for the compressor as well (He ordered for one model got another model) this happened for 4 months.
When i called lg support they told me no compressor has been placed from this lg service guys and he has been scamming for money and casing my apartment (He totally came 5 times with out any resolution/service). I have recorded our conversation and have proof for money transfer.
Now finally when i raised complaint with lg service center they sent another 3rd party service guy and he took 10 thousand from me and told he had ordered new motherboard and new compressor and he told finally that the fridge cannot be repaired and he will take the fridge for 800rs. I bought this fridge on december 2017 and following back with lg service for a year now and no resolution has been made, or atleast lg company guys are ready to follow up on my complaint.
