[Resolved] LG Electronics — LG Refrigerator Product service and quality | |
We have purchased LG Side By Side refrigerator Model:GC-B247SLUV on July 2018 for the cost Rs, 70, 000. 10yrs warranty for compressor. 2 Weeks before we notices cooling was getting drastically reduced and things kept inside fridge were getting spoiled. We called customer care on 20th July and service person came on 21st July After his investigation he updated that gas pipeline got blocked hencefailure in cooling effect, but compressor was fine. When we asked reason for this failure it might be occured due to voltage fluctuation, But in our apartment there was no voltage fluctation issue reported so far. Later he told some other service person will come and atend this gas leakage/blockage issue within 2 days and got SR no as well -RNP[protected]. After that daily i am calling customer care and another service manager and getting only high level answer saying "person will come tomorrow". My fridge was down for last one week and unable to store any item in this critical stage. Very bad experience with LG service and product quality. Pathetic situation is product bought for 70000 failed within 2 years. Was this information helpful? | |

Your service engineer came in 01st August and replaced rusted gas pipe lines and charged 3160 INR.
How come gas pipes will get rusted in 2yrs time in such a high value fridges and replacing with improved quality pipes as per your engineer report.
It’s clearly product fault, for that you guys charged 3160 INR and customer was suffering without fridge for 10days in pandemic situation.
Need justification this product defect.
Why should customer penalised for your faulty product
