[Resolved] LG Electronics — refrigerator issue and company policy | |
I had bought a twin door refrigerator form LG on 16 Jul 12, for approx 1.25 Lakhs. Now all of a sudden there has been an internal leak in the fridge and LG is refusing to repair it saying that as per their policy if the product is more than 5 yrs old they can tell the customer that they can't do anything. Indirectly they have asked us to throw it away. More than anything else I want to inform everyone on this forum about this LG Policy which I was also unaware of that if your product is more than 5 yrs old LG has the right to deny repair and this has been clearly told to me by not one but more 2 LG employees. When I asked them can you give me this in writing they are refusing. So everyone who reads this post please be aware that if a problem occurs in your product post 5 yrs LG can deny repairing it as they have done to me no matter the cost at which you bought the product.
