[Resolved] LG Electronics — Sold me damaged TV and will not replace
I bought a $1000 52" TV, and its comes with stickcers on the screen that say "DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN LIFT FROM THE SIDDES BECAUSE IT WILL CASUE DAMAGE"...
I do exactly that, but when I peel the stickers off there are two huge 12 centimetre long by 2 centimetre wide adhesive stains left on my screen.
I reported this right away, and I was told they would get back to me in a day or so. weeks later I had to call back and all i was told was to purchase GO GOONE or something along those lines to clean it...
I never realized that buying $1000 tvs requires you go to a store and spend more money to clean it so you can actually view your screen, because LG does not package their products properly. Shouldn't this cleaner be included if the stickers they use damage the tvs?
I was insulted over the phone by a so called manager.. Not to mention they record calls without letting the customer know or give permission like every other customer support system does..
Worst experience of my life and i will never buy a LG product again...
