I am having the problem currently white light spots on my LG LED 32LF581B screen after 2 years from the date of purchase (purchased on Sep'17 and completed 2 years extended warranty)
When I called to customer support 1st time, I explained the problem clearly and they agree that this is common problem and cost will be around 1000. So I raised a request, technician visited next day and within seconds he concluded need to change the back light and its cost 6000 and service charge 800 (total 6800).I was shocked and called to customer support 2nd time about the cost and the problem, they changed the words like "we don't know about the problem and we are not supposed to tell even if it is common problem, technician only will decide what is the issue and its cost". This is worst support experience I ever faced.
I called to service centre he told this problem started from 2014 and still its going on, if you have any concerns check with customer support(toll free).
My question is, if everyone aware this is a known issue then why LG can't fix in its next releases and people giving extra money from their pockets about 6000 to 8000 to their parts.
It seems this is also one type business upon common and innocent people like us.And they making us fools.
Now I decided I don't want to buy any LG products in future. Coming to LED TVs Sony is the best even 1 or 2k more, don't go for LG. Was this information helpful? |
