[Resolved]  Liberty Videocon General Insurance — claim refund amount not been provided

On 4th of may i cancelled my kannur to goa flight on ixigo which was covered under full refund policy.
Upon cancellation i contacted liberty general insurance to proceed the matter.
I was told i will be getting a call/mail within 24-48 hours. Its over two weeks now, and after every 48hrs when i call i am being told the same thing, you will receive a call/mail soon from the concerned department.
What is the point of going for free cancellation if the customer has to go through so much hassle. I have called them six times in two weeks and omly received vague excuses thatthe concerned might have missed to mail, they might have not received it yet etc.

I got a call from Liberty General Insurance resolution team, number - [protected]
He started with a rude tone and said its regarding the claim refund . Tell your devit card number, i said it's icici, he said veryyy rudely I'll be needing a government bank card, i said i have bank of baroda card, he said ok, give me the card number, i said atleast drop a mail regarding the claim amount that will be refunded, i cannot just give you my card number, he disconnected after blabbering something. I am not dumb 😒, who would sent the refund with just card number details .

I received multiple calls in a span of 2-3 days to submit the required documents, i asked how to submit them since there was size issue at their end for sending huge files, there was no reply, still i manged to send the documents in 3 mails, mentioning in each mail the document that i was sending. In 1-2 days i received a message stating that the compalint has been closed and on the contrary, the support team mailed and said we are looking into the matter. I have mailed them twice requesting to revert in case they need any other input from my end but i haven't received any reply yet. Giving their customer care a call always goes into vain. They only call repeatedly when the customer is busy with their work and then say i have asked you so many times to submit the documents.
