Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] — Not returning original documents of house loan

Dear madam/sir,

This is Surekhatai. Sadashivrao. Kulkarni, in the year 1999 May 5th, loan was sanctioned from LIC HFL for purchasing a flat as per our application.

We had submitted All Original Documents pertaining to the property to LIC-HFL.
The loan repayment was completed in 2018 March.
Immediately we went to LIC-HFL Belgaum RPD branch for closure, they said we will be getting the original documents to our home address within a month.
After a month we went again, then they asked us to contact Hubli branch for the documents.
When we contacted Hubli branch, they asked us to contact the Bangalore branch.

We contacted Bangalore Branch (Richmond circle) and scheduled 26 / 07 / 2019 as the date for original documents collection.
But when we went there on the given date, they said they don't have the original documents. (Sujatha R)
The reason given : Misplaced in warehouse
And they requested 2 weeks of time for searching the same.

We waited for 2 weeks, 2 months! No response from any of the LIC officials.
On constantly requesting about it, LIC-HFL (Bangalore) agreed to issue the Certified Documents and asked us to send the Consent Form for certified documents, till original documents are found by LIC.
We immediately sent the Consent Form, then requested for Sale deed copy, immediately shared the same.
Till today no response, there is no status update about it.

It's been 2 years now, we are running behind our original documents. I see LIC is least concerned/bothered about the customer once the loan repayment is done.
No one took the responsibility to address our issue, despite its the clear mistake of LIC-HFL.

We also informed that if you don't have any resolution, let us go to the consumer court and handle it in a legal way, but no response.

Till now, we have communicated with at least 50 officials from LIC about the issue.
Continuously asking for resolution over mail.

No one is keen to take the responsibility to address the issue. (I feel shame about customer care by LIC)
From the last 2 years, it has become mental torture to me as I have put my hard-earned money (of whole life)
And yet, in the end, at the age of 59, I don't have the documents.
