My elder brother mr. Sandeep mohan verma dies on 17.04.2017 due to high voltage current when he was working at mill. We already submitted all the required documents within time limit and lic settled the first claim in both the policies but now lic is not paying second claim of ascendant death benefit as per policy. We many times call to agent and in last he says that go to branch office of lic and meet manager when we meet lic claim settlement manager mrs. Reenu garg she is asking for certifying all the documents again from police station and asking for a document from civil court justify the death called fr/cs report and using the word prescribed fee for this work. Branch manager is also helping her for this work
Now my question is that-
1. When i already sublimated documents why she is asking for submitting again.
2. Branch manager is asking for certifying the documents from police station.
3. Not providing the copy of norms to satisfy his requirements of certifying documents.
4. What is the definition of prescribed fee for this work?
5. Is police station and court having no work to do else certifying the documents required by lic?
6. Is customer is duly bound to provide the documents and verify pm/fir/fr/cs copy from police station and court again for death claim and submit to lic second time.
7. What is the responsibility of lic regarding claim. Is lic has no power to verify the documents on its own.
