[Resolved]  L&t Finance — discrepancy of name in their records

Updated by RajCons72 I got my foreclosure letter in my name but the bill copy still have my old name Raj V g, think about having a housing loan and they alter your name as per their convenience, your entire life savings would be in a soup, because in property a name discrepancy would be seen as a big error if you go for selling. I have had 5 loans for vehicles in the past 9 years none of them has unique and unwanted rules as l&t. Totally unprofessional and unethical company. With the name of the corporate, I trusted, but once entered it had shown its ugly face. Only in India these harassment can happen coz of poor consumer laws, time taken for a tribunal to settle the issue. The legal powers of the corporate and a common man. An initiative or a consumer right movement only will fetch or the law makers of the country to look upon these issues. If a corporate is harassing customer for their mistake and showing any consideration for their short coming, then why wouldn't a Tom, Dick and Harry running a company would not cheat their customers. On the other hand Namoji Government keep the price rise index intact to an extent, but this is been compensated with high tax collection. Also the tax on the corporates, their election fund collection for the party, keep the government from taking stringent action against the corporates. If a common man kills himself of harrasment from any financial institute then, then the government wakes up for a fortnight, the media roars with debates. Until a system for the protection of the consumers and a system to monitor it's implementation, the common will the face the wrath, but keeping voting. The power of democracy is only enjoyed by the elite and the person who has muscle power and money power and political power. Hmmmm but forget to say Mere Bharat Maahan.
