[Resolved] Mahadiscom / Mseb / Msedcl — consumer number[protected] meter fault since last 2 years
Dear maharashtra state electricity board,
Hope you all are doing good!
My name is krishna shinde and my meter is not showing any readings since last 2 years.
Name : krishna shinde
Consumer no :[protected]
Billing unit : 4769 (Vadgaon mawal)
Issue : meter faulty since last 2 years
I have visited vadgaon sub-division multiple times in last 2 years.
For meter testing, i had paid meter testing charges on 31 jan 2019
Meter testing was done on 25 mar 2019 and local electrician mr. Bansode had sent me vr report on 25 mar 2019.
I'm retired person so have been staying at my village and hence not been using the electricity of this consumer since last many months.in spite of that, since meter reading is not shown, i've been given default bill of. Rs 500 every month (Consumption unit of 67) even if we're not staying there.
Electrician has been telling us about shortage of meters every time since last more than 1.5 years and now he is giving an excuse of corona/lockdown.
It's been more than 1.5-2 years and our meter faulty problem is not yet sorted.
We've even visited subdivision officer but he said to get in touch with electrician.
In fear of losing electricity, we're even paying rs. 500 every month in spite of we're not staying there.
I've even raised telephonic complaint recently about it but they too can't help me about this issue and asked me to visit local subdivision. The complaint number is[protected]
Since i'm a senior citizen person i do not travel out of my village and hence can not even visit subdivision office frequently considering current pandemic situation.
I sincerely request you to look into this issue as a matter o[censored]rgency with most priority. Being a retired senior citizen, i really can not even afford to pay rs. 500 every month in spite of we're not staying there.
So, request you to install the new meter asap or give us the minimum default bill until new meter is not installed.
