Mahanagar Telephone Nigam [MTNL] — landline tel nos not functioning properly since 2 months

I writing this complaint to you after 2 months of complaints to the telephone department without any redressal of my complaint.

Our phone lines are having a lot of disturbance and when our customers call up on the landlines, they do not hear any ringing tone and they cannot get thru.

Once the lines man came to investigate, and they went back saying they could not trace the underground wiring from their junction box to our factory and went back without solving our problem.

After that we have sent our office person 3 to 4 times to the turbhe telephone exchange and have met the manager and higher authority all of whom have said that they cannot do anything about it, as they do not have staff to dig and trace the problem, as the staff has not being receiving salaries for last 3 months.

I have been paying telephone bills and monthly rentals for the last 2 to 3 months despite faulty service, as my business which is a msme depends on my landline telephone numbers which i have given to my customers.

Is this a deliberate attempt to make the customers move away from mtnl to private operators?
