I booked shivneri ticket from pune to thane on 2nd oct 2018. Bus timing was 6:30 pm and boarding point was hinjewadi phata. Bus usually reaches the stop in 45 mins - 1 hour from swargate. I was waiting at the stop till almost 9:30 pm and was constantly trying calling swargate office. Call connected only twice in 2 hours of span and they updated me that buses have not yet arrived from mumbai and there is no bus to depart from pune. Last update i got around 8:30 pm that the bus has left swargate and they asked me to wait. I waited till 9:30 pm and then again called swargate office. They again told me that the bus has already left and it should have reached at the stop by now, please wait.in few minuted i got call from driver to ask my location and boarding point. Bus was already reached at wakad. Then i got to know from driver that the hinjewadi phata stop has changed. There was no one to provide information regarding stop change. He was asking me to come to wakad at 9:45 pm else wait for the next bus it will reach by 10 pm at the stop. It was not at all possible to go to wakad as there was no one to drop me off. Driver also denied to refund the charges as bus departed. However, this is totally msrtc's fault as the 6:30 pm bus left swargate at 8:30 pm (They usually combines 3-4 bus bookings). Also, there was no proper information for stop change and the two stops are not near too. Old one is on the highway after wakad bridge and new one is on the service road, before wakad bridge.
