Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation [Msrtc] — shifting of bus with no proper arrangements | |||
I have a complaint against msrtc bus. I am a woman traveling solo. I had reserved a ticket from pune to shirdi on 29.03.19 of a shivshahi bus which leaves from shivajinagar st stand at 3.30 pm. 1) firstly, i reached these before time enquired at the window, the woman at the window said she doesn't know and the bus might come! 2) then i decided to wait until the time of the bus and the bus didnt not show up, i go for enquiry again (If i wouldnt have asked there was no way i could have found out the bus is cancelled. They had my number and it was their responsibility to inform me) and thats when they tell me the bus won't come and i have to go in a semi-luxury bus even when i had the reservation of a shivshahi ac bus! 3) after a little bit of arguing they send me to a shivshahi bus that leave 45 minutes later than the timing of my bus hence wasting my time. 4) ok i made peace with shifting and wasted time, when i go to the new bus and sit on a seat available (Which was sadly reserved and btw what should be announced by the conductor before the people settle down so they dont have to movie again and again as the reserved seats arrive) then the conductor asked me to move and i agreed but asked him to arrange other seat for m. The conductor was horribly rude and yelled at me that this is not your bus and its not my job to provide you a seat! 5) i argued back but he was very rude and i saw no point is arguing anymore with such a person who was not even ready to listen. 6) i had to move to the last seat of the bus which is very bumpy and uncomfortable which i thought was very unfair. The mistake or change, whatever you may call it was on the msrtc's side not mine. They should have provided me with proper and comfortable arrangements if they couldn't fullfil the ones that i paid for. It was very unfair that i was made to travel in such uncomfortable way even when i made effort to book my tickets beforehand so i can travel comfortably. My objective of reserving the tickets was completely shredded to bits and i am very disappointed at this. Hoping for a change. Was this information helpful? | |||
