[Resolved] Mahindra And Mahindra — complaint about very poor service from apex motors (m & m dealership, dimapur, nagaland) | |||
With much disappointment and anger, i would like to highlight the plight of service provided by apex motors, dimapur, nagaland (The authorized dealer and service center of m&m). I own two mahindra vehicles (Scorpio & tuv 300) and the only authorized service center in dimapur city is "apex motors". I have had many disappointed incidence of vehicle servicing (Both free and paid) at apex motors.in one instance, i even called up the corporate office for complaint. But, of all these many incidences, the recent one on 4th october 2019 was really unbearable. With these experience, i have decided never ever to purchase of mahindra vehicle or refer anyone. Apex motors is running totally in a mess, which needs serious attention by the company, if it intends to get new customers and sustain the existing. I booked my appointment, 2 weeks in advance on 4th october 2019 (You will never ever get an appointment within a week at apex motors). While booking the appointment have clearly mentioned the issue with my vehicle (Power steering pump, front wheel hub bearing - both sides). So, on the scheduled time and date (10:am, 4th october) went for the servicing at apex motors. My vehicle in 3 years and 10 months old with extended warranty (Shield). After all necessary documentation, a mechanic was slotted for my vehicle and he checked and diagnosed the issue. It was exactly the same issue that i had mentioned during the appointment. So before the mechanic starts the replacement process, i approached the executive at the service center about the warranty coverage of the mentioned spares. To my utter surprise, i was told that the part (Power steering pump) was not under warranty. The warranty is only till 3rd year (Manufacturer warranty). But i said that since i have done the extended warranty, it should have been covered as well. But i was told that it is not. This is my third incident about warranty issue. Earlier i had the issue with the warranty coverage of "center bearing" which was flatly refused due to which i had to purchase. Now my big question is, unlike other vehicle companies like toyota, hyundai (I also have a toyota vehicle), why is the extended warranty meaningless for mahindra??? I was clearly told during the purchase of the extended warranty that whatever is covered in the manufacturer warranty, the extended warranty (Shield) covers as well. This was really a disappoint and cheat. Now, as if all this was not enough, to my utter shock and surprise, i was told that none of the spares required for my vehicle were available in stock. I can understand the situation of stock un-availability, if my appointment was sudden (Within a day or two). But hey, my appointment was confirmed 2 weeks before with detailed description of the issue. What was the company/dealer doing all this while??? This is a fact that "apex motors" stock inventory management is pathetic. How the hell did it become the only authorized dealer and service center in dimapur??? This im not saying based on just one incident. This is a regular occurance. And the best part of the day was that every genuine mahindra spare parts shops in the market has sufficient stock of it. With a disappointing day to forget at the apex motors, i went and bought from outside and repaired my vehicle. The mahindra company should take serious note of it and take immediate action less you will lose out on many mahindra loyal customers like me and potential customers as well.
