Mahindra And Mahindra — harrasment by mahindra dealership / seshadev jena / mahindra jeeto/ complaint number:cf[protected] | |||
Dear sir, I am seshadeb jena, have purchased a mahindra jeeto on february 2019 from utkal automobiles ltd, bhubaneswar. On 24th december 2019 while driving on the road, one tyre got punctured, immediately another two tyre got punctured. After puncture of 3tyre vehicle fall into to road side where damages/bend made to body & other parts, vehicle unable to run. I have called mr prasan kumar panda, sales executive o[censored]tkal automobiles ltd who has sold the vehicle to me. He has advised me to send the vehicle to m/s midway motors pvt ltd, berhampur as it was nearest mahindra showroom from the accident place. As per advise by mahindra executive, i have brought the vehicle to midway motors by spending rs. 8, 000/- from own borrowing fund. Midway motors has received the vehicle on 25th december 2019. Insurance claim has registered, surveyor has visited the vehicle. Surveyor has approved the quotation given by the dealer. Dealer has put request to mahindra automobiles ltd for spare parts but mahindra has not yet provided necessary spare parts to the dealer.in between midway motors has demanded for rs.20, 000/- for starting work. I have submitted rs. 5, 000/- on dated 4th february 2020. On 5th march 2020, mr akash panda, service manager of midway motors pvt ltd has called me and told taking the vehicle to utkal automobiles pvt ltd, bhubaneswar as their dealership code has been deactivated by mahindra and spare parts are not supplied by mahindra. I have lodge complaint in mahindra customer service vide complaint number: Cf[protected] I am a poor and illiterate person without land and pakka house. Earlier i was daily wager. My childhood village friend mr himanshu has helped me and arranged this vehicle for me by financing from cholamandalam. Monthly emi is rs. 9, 200/-, 8emi's already due. Insurance already expired in feb 2020 as vehicle not repaired by mahindra dealership. I have visited midway motors 15 to 18 times which expenses of more than 10k as it was more than 100kms away from my home. After lodging complaint mr sushobhan nanda from mahindra has called my friend himanshu on 6th march and advised midway motors to repair the vehicle immediately and assured us for repairing of vehicle by 30th march as per commitment of midway motors. On 4th july showroom manager of midway motors has communicated as midway motors closed as dealership code is deactivated by mahindra. Now mr susobhan nanda is informing us for transferring to the vehicle from berhampur to bbubaneswar at customers cost. He is not taking any ownership for repairing the vehicle. My submission is if mahindra is deactivated any dealership then it has to take ownership of all pending works for serving it's customer. My humble request to mahindra is to look into the case on priority for early repair of the vehicle by another mahindra dealership without further harrasment to me.
