This is regarding a mahindra bolero that we purchased. We are very disappointed with the vehicle right from the beginning to say the least. It is nearing three year that the vehicle was purchased, and it has done only around 40, 000 kms so far. This should give you an idea that it is not used commercially. I have other cars as well, we bought the bolero so we could go with the full family for picnic etc. And is primarily used within the city of indore, so frankly there is no rough use as well. The vehicle is not driven by a driver, i drive the vehicle myself, and this is used more like a car, where i am the sole user. At around less than 20, 000 kms the ball joint on the front wheel came part and the vehicle came on its knees. Kindly check the vehicle history. Luckily i was in the city and at a turn and the vehicle was moving at less than 5 kms/hour. I guess such issues that put people's life at risk especially with new vehicles is will not be acceptable to any one. If you look at the number of times i had to visit for repairs and services i believe it is unjustified, and in many cases the service centers do not open a job card on subsequent visits when a problem persists. The current issue is that the engine indicator shows indicator there is an engine issue and many times the engine just stops unceremoniously. I have visited the service station many times with this issue the past month, and the problem still persists. Every time they do some repairs, change some parts (Not sure if it really relates to the problem in questions), and i am billed for it. This is becoming very frustrating, and we feel sad about it. I am regretting purchasing the mahindra bolero now. Now they tell me that they will need to change the full wiring and it will cost me 14, 000/- +. If at less than 40, 000 kms one needs to change full wiring, then there is something seriously amiss. (And i have told the service guys, i am not spending any more money for this issue that was attended so many times, it is really frustrating.) Can something be done to sort out this issue and restore our confidence, so we can continue using this. I loved the vehicle, but now i am losing confidence every single day.
