This is a complaint against “mahindra holidays & resorts india ltd.” whose representatives mr. Arnab nandi and mr. Yahiya zain approached us on 9th may, 2018 for taking bliss membership of their organization which is a brand name in the market and as such we naturally had a feeling of trustworthiness. During discussions, we were offered various discounts, privileges and benefits including free 4 nights stay at resorts through redeem vouchers for our family of 6 members which would be arranged by them personally provided we give the option of dates approximately 15 days in advance.
I was asked by mr. Arnab nandi to contact mr. Yahiya zain for further assistance as regards stay of 4 nights through redemption of their redeem vouchers and as such after receiving the redeem vouchers, i immediately started calling mr. Yahiya zain in this regard.
Unfortunately his attitude had totally changed and he started avoiding my telephonic calls. However, after repeated requests, he asked me for uploading the details of redeem vouchers online and forward to him the sms received by me in this regard. As soon as i got the sms, i forwarded it to mr. Yahiya zain as per his advices and requested him to make arrangements for allotting 3 rooms for our family of 6 members for the dates of 14/7/18 to 17/7/18 and he assured that there is no problem and this will be done fast. That was the last conversation, i could have with mr. Yahiya zain who thereafter stopped responding to my telephonic calls.
As such, i telephoned to mr. Arnab nandi who informed me that mr. Yahiya zain had resigned and therefore he will get my work done. But most unfortunately, here also despite my calling mr. Arnab nandi repeatedly, he also just kept on promising but did not do the work.
Frustrated with this, i finally approached mr. Ronit arora who shown his inability to adjust 6 of our family members through redeem vouchers and as such we gave the option of making the arrangements for only two persons. Till today despite various telephonic conversations with mr. Ronit arora, we have not been able to get confirmation of booking against redeem vouchers.
Thus from the above it is clear that “mahindra holidays & resorts india ltd.” have cheated us by taking our hard earned money through false promises given by their representatives.
I fail to understand as to how and why representatives of “mahindra holidays & resorts india ltd.”, a company of such a high repute may humiliate and harass retired class i officers who are also senior citizens and ex-army personnel.
Under the above circumstancs, we have requested them to cancel our membership and refund the full amount of rs.93, 650/-. They have also been requested to cancel our following cheques and mandate given by us to their representatives towards future emis.
(I) cheque no. 790106 dt.09/05/2018 for rs.7, 804/- being emi amount for the month of july, 2018.
(Ii) cheque no. 790107 dt.09/05/2018 for rs.7, 804/- being emi
Amount for the month of august, 2018.

(Iii) mandate registration for rs.7, 804/- given by us for future ten emis.

Now i have received a mail dated 30/6/2018 informing me that refund would not be possible in case of cancellation of membership.
After payment of rs.93650/-, we have not enjoyed even a single service/facility of club mahindra. Rather we have been harassed and humiliated by their people by giving us false hopes, not taking action as per the promises given to us at the time of taking payment from us and even not answering our telephonic calls many a times. Because of all this we have passed our last more than 1 ½ monthis in a state of great frustration. And now their act of refusal to refund the full amount of rs.93, 650/- has added fuel to the fire. Their refusal is absolutely illegal and unjustified. I am a retired female officer from army and now at this age i am not able to bear this shock.
I humbly request you to please take strong action so that mahindra club do not harass and humiliate us more and refund the amount of rs.93, 650/- without any further delay keeping in view the fact that i am a retired ex-army personnel and my husband is a senior citizen.
