I had recently purchased via Online on 9 October 2022 for airline tickets thru’ makemytrip.com. The purchase is for a round trip from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore (Air India Express).
I had completed only 1 Single Trip from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore and subsequently cancelled the return trip from Singapore to Tiruchirappalli on 5 November 2022 (the ticket expiry is dated 13 November 2022) meaning 8 days prior to its expiry date!
Please note that I had purchased a “zero cancellation” policy during this purchase and I had expected a full refund but unfortunately, I received only a partial refund of INR 13318. My total purchase price of the ticket was INR 22237. Hence, the shortfall is INR 8919.
Upon calling your Make my trip customer service on many time, I was advised that the full refund should be activated but till now only partial payment has been reflected.
Please clarify why I am not refunded the full amount based on the “zero cancellation” policy that I had purchased with and for which I am entitled to?
