MakeMyTrip India — entire refund not received against flight cancelled by scoot airline | |||
Reference: scoot flight tr-100 I am writing here in connection with the above flight which i have booked onto on 24th november, 2019 with booking id nn[protected]. The flight was supposed to depart from singapore at 5:30 hrs on 11 feb, 2020, but was cancelled by airline due to outbreak of coronavirus in wuhan, china. According to scoot airlines announcement over the cancelled flights, i am entitled to the 100% refund against my unused itineray via original payment mode. According to my enquiry with the airline, the scoot airline has already refunded the entire amount to makemytrip. This flight was cancelled by the airline so nor the airline or makemytrip is liable to deduct any part of the amount as any kind of fee. But makemytrip has only refunded me a part of the amount paid which is around rs. 19222 out of rs. 23934. I am looking forward to receive the outstanding amount of rs. 4712. And also request to provide the breakup on refund. I tried to reach makemytrip through email [protected]@makemytrip.com and even through app where they have already closed the forum just after incomplete refund. I attach a copy of the ticket, screenshot of refund amount received and details of refund already collected by makemytrip from scoot airline. Was this information helpful? | |||
