MakeMyTrip India — made online payment but hotel denied check in by saying online payment is not accepted.

I made a hotel booking from mmt and made payment online because no pay at hotel option was available. When i reached hotel for check in i was told that i cannot check in because they are not accepting online payment. And i was not allowed to check in. I called to customer care for more than 6 times. Everytym they told wait at the reception for 15 min. I waited for 2hrs and within this 2hrs i have called them multiple times but everytime i got the same response that we are looking into the issue and our agent will call you within 10min but i didn't receive any call till 2hrs. This was really frustrating, firstly my check in was denied and secondly i was asked to wait at reception for more than 2hrs. But then also no response from mmt side.
