[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — no proper information provided about the hotel | |||
We had booked room in hotel adarsh in lonavala through make my trip on 11th november 2017. On the site it was showing hotel had facilty of swiming pool, and hence we booked the room to enjoy in to swiming pool. But on 11th at 11am i m getting a call from hotel adarsh that their swimming pool is shut due to some emergency leakage and is under repair, and will be functional by today evening. So i refered this to make my trip coustomer care. They where given the same news by the hotelier. Make my trip told me that pool will be functional by evening and also asked me about cancelling the hotel booking or take rs 500 as compensation. Since we had come from far ie goa with fear of not finding any other room i accepted to stay in the same hotel as they had told us that swimingpool will be functioning in the evening. As we reached the hotel we found out that swiming pool is closed 7day back as they had to repair the lightings and also some more repairs they have to carry out and will not be started for more 5day. The information abt the emegency leakage given by the hoteliers and make my trip was fake. The compensation provided by make my trip is very less as it we lost our enjoyement of entire saturday. It is the responsibility of mmt to keep updated their site so the coustomer are not fooled. It is also seen that mmt does not take the responsibilty of the coustomer and do not up keep the promise of what they show in their advertisements. I have taken the photos of the swiming pool and the repair work is which is goig on. If make my trip do not compasate for their mistake i will file the case in cosumer forum.
