MakeMyTrip India — Refund for my foreign trip during lockdown | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you to raise the issue of NL[protected]. The issue that I have experienced was about the cancellation of my Europe tour starting on 13th May 2020. My parents being cancer patients I have requested for the full refund against my Europe package. Pankaj Trivedi was in contact with me for a month. After a month I received a reply saying that MMT is ready to refund the money as the cancer proofs were accepted by the team. But they would be charging me the flight cancellations fees of around 20k per person. Upon confirmation with the Emirates, they have guaranteed me the full refund against my flight ticket and even the same information is mentioned on your website also. Today I received a reply from your team asking for 3 months more. I am left with no option other than requesting you to please take up this issue seriously and escalate it because I don't think 2 lacs is worth more than someone's life. Now after waiting for 3 months I was assured that I would get full refind with a deduction of 20K. But to my surprise I was told today that I would only receive 45K as refund. Please give my full refund as you have also mentioned on your website that Emirates passengers would be receiving a full refund for COVID cancellations I have attached all the proofs and relevant document I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
