I was trying to book a domestic flight from SXR to COK of Indigo airlines through makemytrip.com. I booked through my credit card, however the booking was unsuccessful from MakeMytrip end though the amount of 9309/- got deducted from my credit card on 22 Jun 22 at 7.15 PM. I thought that it is a normal issue and the money will be refunded back as has happened so many times before. I called my credit card provider after two days but they told that the transaction is sucessful from their end, so I have to contact the Merchant (MakeMytrip) for refund. They even provided me with the transaction ID's of sucessful credit of amount to MakeMytrip. From then onwards, I have called MMT so many times, shared the transaction ID's with them, shared my credit card statement with them, they even told that my issues has been escaIated on high priority basis and will receive a call from the backend team within 48 hours, however the same have not happened. They are just dodging this issue and are trying not to refund the money back.
A support ticket was raised for refund on 26 Jun 22, however there is no status update from MakeMytrip from that date.
I have booked flights worth above Rs. 1, 00, 000/- during the past year from MakeMytrip, however the support they are providing in these times is very pathetic and i will reconsider my association with MakeMytrip for my further transactions.
