We would like to bring it your notice and seek resolution for the same,
My father had booked their return ticket (GoAir flight from pune to Bangalore) as the flight was cancelled at the last minute, they (senior citizen couple) had lots of difficulties in terms of making last minute alternate arrangements, both intern additional expenses and mental agony.
Over all these they have been regularly following up for the refund of GoAir tickets. He is not getting any response neither from GoAir nor from MakeMyTrip.
I have tried speaking to one of your call centre executives, to understand the gravity of the situation. The was a bit rude and clear that MMT will only refund flight fare only if they receive refund and disconnect the call.
We had booked flight tickets, considering the genuineness / real-ability of MMT, however the current MMT response is like a local / individual travel agency.
We seek some resolution towards the long pending refund of cancelled flight fare of ~Rs.7, 000/-

However, my humble request and suggestion is that you can refund to provide full refund to regular genuine customers, especially like my father who is a retired pensioner with limited resources travelling and use your site to book all his travel needs.
Makemytrip is a NASDAQ listed company with a market cap of 7.89 Bn and one of the leading travel companies in India; can easily provide refunds to a MMT regular / loyal customer and retired veteran with a monthly pension of Rs.36, 000/-.
If not a cash refund, you can provide him with an MMT Coupon, as your net refund amount can be further subsidised for your books (considering your net cost of refund post deducing the subsequent travel trip).
