My booking id is NF2M2E5YJK3JUIZ52276 and my flight was with Indigo from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur on January 16, 2022. As per travel guidelines, I got the RTPCR test on my wife with 72 hours of departure who was one the passengers supposed to travel with me. The RTPCR report was positive and I had to cancel the full ticket as she had been staying with me and I also could not travel. I got refund of just Rs 4806 whereas I had paid Rs. 13034. I spent several hours to try and talk to makemytrip support executive but the the call on +[protected] / +[protected]India Number) does not take to support executive and it tells to use the makemytrip website or application. So, I had sent covid test report to Indigo airlines customer care and after few follow ups they approved waiver of cancellation charges and grant full refund with additional Rs 7000 to virtual id of makemytrip. Now, I am helpless and unable to ask makemytrip about my refund. There is no way I can speak to them or provide valid covid test report so that they provide me refund amount. If my issue is not solved here, I will surely go to consumer forum and ask the refund along with compensation for the humiliation and harrasement caused to me by makemytrip. I get refund or not but this was the last time a ever booked a ticket with makemytrip. I am deeply saddened to know that makemytrip such a big name and I can not speak to a customer representative to hear my issue. Was this information helpful? |
