This is in context to a trip scheduled with MMT (booking ID NL[protected] for North East India. I wanted to share that this has been the worst experience I have ever had in terms of hospitality. There have been numerous instances where we felt we have been duped of money. I want to share some of these instances so that it can be brought to immediate notice.
1. Hotel rooms : The hotel room that had been booked as a part of the package in Shillong was not even accommodating for a family of 3. While booking it was clearly mentioned that we were 4 people in number. Somehow we managed to stay in the same room. The Hotel room arrangement in Guwahati was even smaller and even more cramped up. After a long and tiring day, the least we expected was a room that had space for a family of 4. Unfortunately the rooms throughout were a huge disappointment. I am attaching pictures of the accommodation.
2. Jeep Safari : It is clearly mentioned in the package that there is Jeep safari and elephant safari included. Elephant safari was excluded at the last moment before the trip started citing monsoon as the reason. We were looking forward to the Jeep safari but when we got to Kaziranga, we learned, to our shock and utter disappointment, that the Jeep safari too was cancelled due to weather. At the time of booking, it was promised to us that the Jeep safari would be on track. We even called support and asked them why this was not shared at the time of booking but we got 0 response and support from the MMT team. What is the point of visiting Kaziranga without any of the Safari plans included?
