[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — transit visa, cancellation of ticket and refund | |
Waitinubject: reference complaint submitted to make my trip. Booking id Nn[protected]. Reference id:[[protected]] transit visa Here i would like to state the following facts for your information And consideration:- • i have booked the attached ticket to visit my daughter at Auckland from delhi on 15.07.2018 • accordingly they booked my ticket from delhi to auckland via Singapore and brisbane. • on reaching the airport from gujarat and having a valid visa For newzealand i reached delhi early morning on 9th october2018. • the airline personals pulled me out of the queue saying i Can’t fly as i need transit visa for australia. • at the time of booking and finalizing it has not been Informed that an exit visa would be required at australia. It was not Even mentioned in the ticket or the ticket supplied to me, about the Transit visa at brisbane which was for an hour only. The officials were then contacted mmt on contacted on 09.11.2018 from Delhi airport as being a lady the solution. The airline officials Asked me to tell them to reschedule the flight. They informed that nothing is possible with this ticket I. Initially advised me to purchase new tickets from delhi To auckland by same airline (Singapore line) directly and the cost Of rs 90000/ and for return journey existing ticket may be used. Ii. Accordingly the link for making payment of rs 90000 was sent on my email. Iii. While i was trying to making the payment, i got another Call from customer care was received stating that i have to book for Return journey also and now cost has become rs.148134/, Iv. Looking at the crucial hour the payment had been made by Mr. Rana through card requesting them to cancel he ticket booked Bur the make my trip people did not cancel the ticket. To my surprise im sending an email to them daily but they are just keeping quite on my problem specially the financial loss i went through Was this information helpful? | |
