I am a frequent user of makemytrip services. On 04/09/2014 I tried to book a ticket from Chennai to New Delhi amounting INR 11260 however due to certain technical issues in server my ticket was not booked and with my approval my money got transferred to MMT wallet. So using my wallet I booked another ticket for INR 9203. So my balance amount in wallet was 2057. So after two days when I tried to book a rail ticket using my MMT wallet, to my surprise the option to pay using MMT wallet didn't appear, so then when I read their rules regarding MMT wallet, it is written that, "MMT wallet" money can only be used for flight and hotel bookings. I am not a person who travel frequently nor the person who prefer to stay at hotels. So my Makemytrip Wallet money is still lying at their hands without utilization. In this regard I would like to raise an objection that, being a provider of different services why my wallet money is only restricted for airline or hotel booking..?? why MMT forces one to use his wallet money only for airline and hotel booking..?? As a loyal customer am I don't have the right to choose what I want to do with my money..?? When there are other service providers who give option to transfer wallet money to bank, why makemytrip doesnt provide that option..?? Holding ones money in the misleading name of my wallet, leaving no option to get the money back and forcing a customer to go for what they suggest, to me is a big fraudulent activity by makemytrip. I am a frequent user of makemytrip services. On 17/04/2015 I booked a ticket from bangalore to new delhi, in which i got 350 rs. in my MMT Wallet. So after 3 months when I tried to book a rail ticket using my MMT wallet, to my surprise the option to pay using MMT wallet didn't appear, so then when I read their rules regarding MMT wallet, it is written that, "MMT wallet" money can only be used for flight and hotel bookings. I am not a person who travel frequently nor the person who prefer to stay at hotels. So my Makemytrip Wallet money is still lying at their hands without utilization. I bought flight tickets for a round way trip of Mumbai- Bangalore. I used the coupon code DFLOYAL15. This was supposed to deposit ₹1000 in my MMT wallet, which I failed to recieve. May I know when to expect to receive it?
At the payment page of train booking there is no option o[censored]sing my wallet. Is wallet is only for grab refund money, I f I am not able to use this then what type of wallet is this. The silly things behind big brand name is not acceptable.

I booked my ticket using code 2016 to get 2016/- in my mmt wallet.
today now booking another ticket i can use only 249/- from wallet.
The TnC initially read that i would be allowed to use 500/ per flight.
what non sense is it then??
Initially my friend referred me and I got 500/ for the first time but could not use it all on the first flight. could use some 200/-

I have the same issue on using makemytrip wallet money. I have 1500 rs in my wallet received as a cashback on booking a flight ticket. Ticket Id: NF[protected] for reference. Please let me know if you have any option o[censored]sing this wallet money to book Train Ticket.Or take this as a concern to add this option

I used this coupon recently which made me get a cash back in my wallet of Rs. 1500 and now when I'm trying to use it, it says cannot be used because I clicked on the coupon "HTLPREMIUM" or something and it's not clubbing with that. This is so not right and very misleading.
