Hi. I bought thia alto k10 vxi based on the add 24.07 kmpl. But ibget only 12- 14 kmpl. The same segment of cars are giving 20 avaerage in city. So stressed please look into this. I always pour 300 rs petrol and get the average of 45- 50 km which is half of what was advertised. Im not driving benz or rangrover to get this milage. Just driving an alto with 1 lt engieen. Dear Mr. Arun,

Check fuel economy by full tank to full tank method.
Fill the tank full at pump near you, set trip meter "0" and drive more than 100 kms. Then re-fill to full tank at same pump and note the how much fuel added to fill it full.
Now divide distance traveled by added fuel qty.

If this figure don't satisfy you, report to your nearest dealer.
