[Resolved]  Max Life Insurance — cancel the policy and refund the money!!

We are totally unhappy and unsatisfied with the max life insurance company and their service.

My mother was forced to take max life insurance policy who is uneducated and don't know any knowledge about these insurance companies. She had some amount in her axis bank account for our brother marriage, but unfortunately she was brain washed and forced to take policy.

Premium amount - rs.51, 544.53
Premium date - 5-nov-12

Response immediately and refund back our had earned money. Also dont cheat people by selling your policies. If your company is not returning our hard earned money, we will go legally.

Dear Sir, As per the regulatory provisions, there is a free look period of 15 days during which the policyholder may approach the insurance company for cancellation (if not satisfied). This free look period starts from the date of receipt of the policy pack by the policyholder. In line with above, your policy pack including proposal form and benefit illustration was duly handed over to you on time. We have received your request for cancellation now, which is beyond the free look period of 15 days. Hence, we express our inability to cancel the policies and refund the premium paid. Further, as per the terms & conditions mentioned in the policy contract, this policy acquires surrender value if it has been in force for at least three years and provided all the premiums that have fallen due have been received. Since we have not received the complete premium for first 3 years, there is no surrender value payable.Please reach out to us in the future and we shall assist you with your queries. Why are you cheating the public like this stating regulatory provisions and all. in this way you insurance people are cheating the public. is it the corporate way of cheating or what. requesting your team to consider once again to do the refund else i may go for legally.
