[Resolved]  Max Life Insurance — Max life online term plan - policy is not issued and irresponsible random emails about the status of policy

I took an online term plan with Max Life Insurance on 27-April-2017 and paid the premium online for INR 623.20. I received a call in 2 days for medical verification and was told that the policy will be issued in 2 days.

Since then I started receiving random emails from Max that premium is pending (APPLICATION STATUS :Proposal decisioned, awaiting for complete premium"), but no clarification is provided whatsoever on the amount/period. Nowhere in their website have they mentioned anything about multiple premiums. When I called up their useless customer service, even they don't have any clue about the email. I received 3 such emails.

Yesterday (23-May-17), I received an email asking for premium from February month onwards! Why should I pay premium from February, when I applied for the policy on 27-April? This clearly shows how irresponsible/inconsistent/chaotic way this company is run.

For the last 15 days, I've been struggling with this pathetic company to CANCEL THIS APPLICATION, but all my efforts going down the drain.
I emailed all of escalation matrix (useless bunch of people):

I spoke to many of their representatives [Devki Nandan Dwivedi, Kuljeet Kaur, and many others, who will always say "24 to 48 hours" without any understanding.

In short: This is an company and customers should refrain from buying anything. They don't have any process or channel in doing business. Thins just happen randomly, which is dangerous in financial domain.

I just need this application to be cancelled and my premium refunded.

My cancellation request is still not processed even after promised by 2 of your representatives.
[protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com doesn't care at all. I sent more than 10 emails and NOTHING received a response.

Make sure my application/policy is cancelled and refund the premium immediately!
