[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — complaint about insurance policy. | |||
I bought an insurance policy from max life insurance company ltd.in 19.05.2008. Policy no. 3443142. I am the policy holder and my son is nominee in this policy. I have paid all the yearly premiums of rs. 10, 111.56/- till date my total premium amount is rs. 101, 115.60/- I had visited max insurance life's office in borivali west, mumbai. One of the agent told me that, i can withdraw policy and i will get back my total amount but they have paid me only rs. 40443/-. Another agent told me that this is violation of insurance law/rule; as per insurance law/rule i am entitle to receive amount of total premium which i have paid, not less than total premium amount. my policy no. is[protected], i want to know is there any surrender charges, at the time of purchase i was told there is no any surrender charges. i bought this policy on faith but now feel it was not suitable for me.
