Hi, I am an employee of TCS and I have the health cover of Mediassist for my family. Recently, my mother was hospitalised for a day and I had submitted a reimbursement claim on mediassist. I had provided all the original documents to their team. They denied the claim on the ground that the patient was not there in hospital for at least 24 hours which is totally wrong. The patient(my mother) was there in the hospital from 7th March 2017 7.00 AM to 8th March 2017 4 PM. This is clearly more than 24 hours. I clarified with them many times but they kept on rejecting. Totally agree. They use all the crooked ways to reject the claims. Most of the time, the denial reasons provided are out of the submission guidelines. They are most insane and no respect for customer. Never look for an insurance in this company.
