[Resolved]  Medplus India — worst customer service, rude employee behaviour, false information and insulting talks by medplus employee theresa, at medplus ayyapakkam branch

I am Saravanan. R, my mobile number is [protected] registered with Medplus. I live at Ayyapakkam and being a very long long customer of Medplus. But, as an incident happened to me with one of your employee named “Theresa” at Medplus Ayyapakkam branch, I think, I may have to STOP BUYING MEDICINES FROM MEDPLUS after, I was neglected and had a worst, horrible customer service with your employee Theresa at Medplus Ayyapakkam branch.
Along with this email, I have attached the web order bill copy, which I took photo. First of all, I don’t have any hope on the shop In-charge at all.
I usually wont go to purchase or get medicines during day time, because I have seen few times how your employee treats the customers.
But as I want to buy this BRINZOTIM EYE DROPS urgently, I went to Medplus Ayyapakkam branch on 27-may-2019 at afternoon 12.40 pm. Your employee “Theresa” was at billing counter. When I asked about the BRINZOTIM EYE DROPS, she said they didn’t have the stock. But by placing a web order, I can get the medicine on the same day evening after 8.30 pm. So, I asked her to place the web order and paid, after getting the money. She said, sometimes if the web order doesn’t come on the same day, the next day it may come. I MEAN WHY GIVING LIKE THIS FALSE PROMISES AND MAKING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE MEDICINES. As, I needed urgently that has to be medicated for my father. I just let this ago, because I know about your employee Theresa. So, after she says like this, friend who accompanied me with the shop. Asked her politely, whether they can give it as home delivery.
AND HERE STARTED THE REAL PROBLEM, YOUR EMPLOYEE SAID PURCHASE ABOVE 1000Rs. IS ELIGIBLE FOR HOME DELIVERY. I TOO SAID, THE SAME TO MY FRIEND. And, also said that, the employees from MEDPLUS AYYAPAKKAM branch has never made a house delivery for past one year.
This is because, in the evening times only two employees were there in the shop. So, I said they won’t be able to make a home delivery. ON A STRONG VOICE, YOUR EMPLOYEE THERESA STARTED SAYING THAT, I AM SAYING IT WRONG.
THEN, I ASKED HER TO CHECK MY HISTORY OF RECORDS, BY MY PHONE NUMBER [protected]. Because, it will show, how many years, I am buying medicines from Medplus with a minimum order value from Rs.2500 to Rs.3000 and more per MONTH.
Then, SHE STARTED TO RAISE HER VOICE ON ME AND SAYING THAT MEDPLUS IS DOING HOME DELIVERY AND THEY HAVEN’T MISS ANY. But, As I am aware that I am speaking to a female, So, I politely said That, you guys were doing home delivery, as I remembered it was two years ago. And, not made a single home delivery in present times. Because, whenever I ask for home delivery for past two years, the employees say, only two of them are available at the shop, so home delivery is not possible, due to shortage of employees.
But, ON A VERY VERY STRONG TONE SHE SAID THE EXACT WORDS ARE IN TAMIL “ANAVASIYAMA PESA VENDAAM”. THIS MEANS “DON’T TALK UNNECCESARILY”
Do you know guys what’s the meaning of the word, she said in Tamil? After seeing such an arrogant attitude from your employee. I got angry and asked her to cancel the web order and return my money. She asked me to write my mobile number and sign for the cancellation. I wrote on the top of the bill as “INAPPROPRIATE CUSTOMER HANDLING, CANCELLING THE WEB ORDER”
When, I asked her full name to make a compliant at Medplus customer care. She replied as “THERESA, Yaar kitta vena sollikonga, yenna vennumna pannikonga. YENNA ONNUM PANNA MUDIYAATHU”. This means, “YOU TELL ANYONE, AND DO ANYTHING, NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO ME”.
After saying this, she said SHE IS THE SENIOR MOST EMPLOYEE, IN THE SHOP.
Her way of speech and wordings towards me was like, WAS IN A WORST WAY. I REALLY REALLY GOT HURT BY HER DOINGS.
Not, only me she always treats the customers like; customer are begging for discounts and giving medicines free.
If we think in her way, If I stop purchasing medicines from Medplus, AFTERALL YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE AN CUSTOMER WHO BUYS, MEDICINES FOR 3000Rs PER MONTH. BY CALCULATING, YOU WILL HAVE A LOSS OF 36, 000Rs PER YEAR.
This will not concern like, just losing a single Customer. BUT, THINK LIKE THIS, BY HAVING SUCH AN EMPLOYEE LIKE THERESA AT MEDPLUS, IF 10 OF YOUR REGULAR EMPLOYEES LEAVE AND NEGLECT YOUR BUSINESS. Who is purchasing 3000 Rs, per month of 10 regular customers? For one year, 3, 60, 000 Rs you lose, can you guys do the math now.
My god, I have never seen such a HARD ATTITUDE from an employee in my lifetime. My first Question is, do you guys really provide training to your employees, how to speak to your customers.
So, I have decided to stop purchasing the medicines from you guys, by having this kind o[censored]nprofessional employees. I decided to stop having business with you guys, TO SAVE MY RESPECT AND DIGNITY.
FYI, no employees in your medplus shop wears an ID card, If so, I could have seen her full name and employee ID number.
I was very not able to draft an email about this issue to customer care. During these days, I came to find out that your employee THERESA, SHE IS NOT EVEN A PHARMACIST QUALIFIED PERSON, I AM WONDERING, HOW SHE IS ABLE SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS!!!
ALSO, SHE HAS NOT EVEN COMPLETED HER 12 STANDARD EDUCATION. BUT SHE IS SAYING THAT SHE IS THE MOST SENIOR EMPLOYEE, IN THE SHOP. WHAT KIND OF COMPULSIVE ATTATIDE SHE HAS?
I BELIVE AS PER THE GOVERNMENT RULES, YOU GUYS SHOULD EMPLOY an B. Pharm holder in each medplus branch right.
Also, I found out by consulting with former employees at this branch, your employee THERESA at medplus branch is involved in some serious malpractice activities.
I want to meet your regional head of MEDPLUS and speak to him. I had bought the same BRINZOTIM EYE DROPS and NOVOMIX INSULIN from MEDPLUS ATHIPET BRANCH. AT MEDPLUS ATHIPET BRANCH (far away from my home) THE EMPLOYEES TREATED ME IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND POLITELY.
And, I promise you guys, this is the last ever purchase will be made at MEDPLUS in my life.
Also, when compared to Medplus, Apollo treats their customer in a humble and polite way.
I strongly suggest you guys should get training from APOLLO MEDICALS, how to treat and handle customers.
PLEASE SEND ME YOUR REGIONAL HEAD MANAGER OR HIGHER AUTHORITY OFFICAL ADDRESS TO SPEAK WITH THEM, FACE TO FACE, IN-PERSON, and explain more what happened on that day to me.
