[Resolved] Mega Cabs — Overcharging, bill not provided, dishonest and rude driver | |||
I took a cab on 16 july from airport to my house. The total kms would have been 17-18 kms. The driver overcharged me by showing wrong reading and by not providing bill giving an excuse that his system is updating. As his meter was not working he showed me reading in clustermeter which has two readings - trip a and trip b. At the pick up point he showed me trip a reading and at my destination he showed me trip b reading thus overcharging me with 7 kms extra. He also asked me for airport parking charges of rs 226 and service tax of 6% but after confirmation from customer care i came to know parking charges were rs 130 and service tax was 5%. Above all the drives was rude and did not accept his mistake. I paid him rs 700 and later he said he got only rs 600 from us. We asked for our bill at the customer care they said they will give on our email address. Till now we have got no bill. So i feel mega cabs and its drivers are cheating customers by not providing bills and overcharging us and making profits by not paying taxes. Was this information helpful? | |||
