Micromax — Not supporting Video call or 3G data service | |||
Sir, I had purchased a Micromax Canvas A1 mobile phone on October, 2014 for Rs.6500.00 through Amazone.in . Before that I was using Gionee mobile which often hanging, hence i opted to buy Micromax mobile. Once I received the phone, I had inserted the existing SIM(BSNL), but showed no sign of 3G data connection, even the area where full 3G signals are available. So I changed the SIM and put another SIM(IDEA). Evenafter I was showing the weak signals of 3G data. Only supporting 2G and some times it was very slow comparing to other mobile sets . When I contacted the authorised service centre of Micromax at Kollam, they after checked the set, informed that the set carrying some defects and it should be sent back. As i had purchased the item through online, they informed that they can't do anything. I was surprised, the authorised serivice centre was in such mood to reject the set once they detected some complaint. As i had no idea about how to send the mobile set back, I didn't do anything. But now the set showing so much trouble. I cannot even to browse the important sites, for which I actually purchased the set. Since then I had sent several complaint through your customer care site requesting to solve my plea, but no response. I am actually desp and cursing the time I felt to purchase the Micromax mobile through online. It is pathetic the service you offered, even file a complaint through your site. When there was a problem detected in the Gionee phone which I used early, placed a complaint through their site, the personal sales manager himself contacted me and helped to solve the problem.
