I have made an order (Order Id : 3912468) with Moglix (Mogli Labs India Private Limited) for Wellton Healthcare Semi Fowler Hospital Bed (Model WH-509B) on 1 July 2022 for my bedridden husband. While ordering they said it will be delivered by 8 July 2022. On 7 July 2022, the manufacturer contacted me and said it is ready for dispatch. However, I have not received the item on the agreed date by Moglix. I have then contacted their helpline and they said it will be delivered on 10 July 2022, but again they missed this date. As it is urgently required for my bedridden husband, I made several follow ups via email and phone calls to expedite the delivery. Finally, I have received the item on 13 July 2022.
When it arrived, I have noticed that the packing was not properly done for the item. Due to improper packing, nut & bolt sets for the handrail were not present in the box. Also, the headboard lock was damaged (bent) resulting an improper tie-in to the bed frame (currently it is loose). Apart from this, I also noticed that the support frame/cross bar connecting two legs also got damaged while shipping. I have contacted Moglix over phone and registered a complaint. As I have not seen any response from Moglix, I have also contacted the manufacturer for a resolution, however, they asked me to contact Moglix for any claims after sale.
I have then made several follow ups over phone for my complaint, and I wrote to them officially on 20 July 2022. I have also noticed damages to the wheels after couple of days use. The tubes connecting the wheels have a bend and the wheels are touching the cross bar and cannot rotate 360 degrees. It seems like the support frame is not capable of holding the weight (65 kg) of the patient. After several communications with them they agreed to replace the bed set and I was waiting for the item for pick up. But suddenly Moglix send an email saying that as the delivered item is used by the customer, I am not eligible for a replacement and rejected my request.
As it is unsafe to sleep on it and I felt it may break at any time, I have purchased another bed set for my husband from a local manufacturer and we are very satisfied with it.
I have full call recordings and email communications in case of any verification required by the authorities. I require them to take away this low quality item and request a full reimbursement at the earliest.
