Morestore — wrongful accusation of theft

One of the female staff accused me of stealing a heritage ghee packet worth 99 rupees after check out. I was co-operative and let them check my grocery bag, as i do understand that it is part of their job. After checking my bag with my bill and not finding any extra product instead of letting us go.
She said that she saw me putting the product in my trolley, i told her i changed my mind about buying the product and kept it back in the same shelf.
She said that there were "4 packets in shelf when i asked her and now there are only 3, and since there is 1 packet missing from shelf, you have stolen it".
. I told her i kept it back in shelf and may be another customer has added it in their trolley or might have misplaced it and kept in another shelf. She said that no other customer was near this aisle and she was arranging nearby shelf, and she would be blamed and money would be deduced from her salary and some sob story.
I told her to check cctv footage which the staff said was not available. And i
Had to explain them, they had already checked both my bags and they could not accuse me. And after an another customer came in my support, they let me and my mom leave.
I am not complaining to get the staff fired. The girl who accused me looked very young and inexperienced. But this situation would have been better managed if there was cctv and a store manager present.
The store head/manager was not present i asked for a complaint book, the staff said they do not have a complaint book.
