Mumbai Mirror — Ulhasnagar water woes
As water is a basic necessity of a person ulhasnagar citizens have learnt to live without with this necessity by receiving of barely 10 days water supply in a month and the credit for all this goes to UMC.The citizens o[censored]lhasnagar are suffering from watercuts for 4 days a week though there is a water crisis all over mumbai but the politicians and municipal corporation o[censored]MC have created artificial shortage making common man's life miserable. The konark India was bestowed upon the task of water distribution by UMC (blue line). As citizens we pay our water tax of Rs.300 p.m to UMC. The blue line costs an additional 300 p.m. why should citizens pay an extra for their basic necessities which is promised by government due to their selfish motives and negligence. Requesting Mumbai Mirrors to bring up this issue in their daily and Citizens to collectively participate against this practice of artificial water cut Was this information helpful?
