I have been paying propert tax online from last few years. But for the current year, online payment portal not working from last 2 months. I have been trying to pay for the current year.
When i called customer care, i was told to not pay online and submit challan in bank.

Why should i take leave from my office to deposit if the online portal is available for the same.
Why should i be penalized for not paying my dues if there is fault on the portal when i have been trying to pay
