[Resolved]  Municipal Corporation Of South Delhi — Incomplete Colony Road

Address:New Delhi, Delhi, 110019

The image uploaded herewithis of the residential road at Lane 10 Govindpuri Exension, Kalkaji, New Delhi – 110 019. Until end February 2017 the road was a fine cemented road easily accessible by 4 wheelers, 2 wheelers and pedestrians. The road was laid 4/5 years back and though it had a few bad patches but was easily maneuverable. On 28th of February, 2017 the Area Councilor Shri. Chander Prakash visited our area and spoke to a few residents and convinced them that he will get a new concreted road laid after breaking the existing road. He promised to get the entire job done within a weeks time.
On his verbal tirade and promises a few residents who had assembled agreed, the coconut breaking brief ceremony was performed and the first digging of the existing motor able road was initiated in front of the Area Councilor.
Today 26th March, 2017 (about a month) that the residents are presented with a broken, non motor able, non commutable road with rubbles scattered all along the whole length of the road. It has become extremely difficult for the elders (senior citizens) and children to maneuver the road on foot because of the fear of injury.
We tried to contact our Area Councilor Shri Chander Prakash over phone as well by visiting his designated office, several times, but he remains unreachable. May be the upcoming MCD election is more important to him.
