My Happy Journey — Liars, Cheaters, Thugs, Playing hide and seek with Customers, My Worst Journey

This is Dr.Tahziba Hussain and Nadeem Hussain from Bhubaneswar. Before proceeding on journey, we had a discussion and agent of MHJ, (Mr.Abhilash) and (Mr.Ajith Joseph) agreed to come and meet me. But he never turned up. This is very unprofessional of him and his team. No one was there for responding to our queries. The Driver they had sent for our trip, Sandeep was having their mobile phone. He was an irritating fellow. All through the journey, he kept on talking. He was driving recklessly and speeding at 120-140 km/h and then putting sudden brakes quite often. He met with another fellow in Mysore and tried to go with him. He left us at Vrindavan Gardens and when we returned, he was not found. Actually, he was talking to another driver and we kept waiting for him for about an hour and we had to walk for 2 kms before finding him. After reaching Ooty, he started misguiding us. He told that the Botanical Garden will be closed at 5.30 p.m. But we insisted and went there only to find that it was open till 6.30 p.m and after that once we enter, we can stay there upto 7:30pm. Next day, we had to go to Coonoor but we could not get the train tickets even after trying twice owing to long queues and unavailability of tickets. We told him to take us by taxi but he tried his best not to go to Coonoor and suggested us to take rest in the hotel. Then he took us on a different way pretending that he does not know the way. After we requested him repeatedly, he took us there by road and we saw Sims Park, & Tea Factory but he gave excuses to take us to Dolphin's nose and returned immediately. On the way back to Ooty, he was grumbling for this trip. Next morning when we started to leave Ooty, we requested him to take us to Chocolate & Tea factory but again he said that it is nothing new, you have seen that in Coonoor, etc. Everyday, he was reminding of money. First we booked by paying Rs.5000/- through Credit card, after we reached there, we gave him Rs.25, 000/- cash first and then Rs.4, 500/- cash. We asked him to let us talk to Abhilash but he said that He is not picking up his phone. He is busy with other bookings and will meet in Mysore, then in Ooty. Is this the way, they should be behaving? We have not seen anything in Bangalore and still paid more for the trip. Moreover, the hotels were standard type. Only Surya Village in Ooty was good. Though we do not mind the expenses for fooding but the driver accompanied us in every lunch, dinner, tea, snacks, wherever we stopped on the way. Inspite of our good behaviour, he was always in a mood to cheat us. For dropping us at Railway station, he reached very late at the hotel and we were in tension whether we will be able to board the train or not. Luckily the train was late. Overall, it was a bad experience with My Happy Journey. They are taking a huge amount and just hiding from customers. I will never suggest anyone to plan a journey with MHJ.
