My Happy Journey — Not reliable | |
I booked a package for Andaman in Dec 15 from my happyjourney. We were told to pay the amount in arrival. As I was an old customer I decided to pay 25 k in advance .Our flight was from Chennai but due to heavy rain that year all flights were cancelled for around a week duration. Our journey was in that week only. We apprised my happy journey about the situation and to surprise they insisted us to reach port blair despite knowing the fact that Chennai airport was fully nonfunctional for a week. Latter after a several phones they agreed that journey was not possible. Though the booked hotels in port blair and havelock were offering free cancellation and the macruz service too was cancelling the tickets with nominal charge we were denied any refund from my happy journey. I was an old customer of MHJ since 2010 and contacted the CEO Karthikeyan about the same. I was told that they will adjust the amount if I take any other package from them. After then we visited some places and never got any reply from mhj. I had an option to pay lateron arrival but relying on their promise I made advance payment. But they turned out to be very greedy and untrustworthy. My other friends who booked package from other leading travels immediately received the alternate package but I did not get the same from my happy journey even after a year. This company is full of fraud and cheats.Book them only if you want to get cheated. Was this information helpful? | |

I too have a bitter experience with them.There charges are high and hotel quality not good in Andman.
