Myles — refund not initiated against the booking id 6693722

This is regarding the booking id 6693722. We booked a car from myles (10th sep to 14th sep 2017) by paying a security deposit of rs 5000 through paytm. We had extended the trip by 1 day and therefore, rs[protected]: amount mentioned by them for 1 day extension) was supposed to be refunded after we returned the car, but we haven't received any refund yet. It has been more than two months following it up with the myles customer care but no action has been taken!

When we had returned the car, it was in good condition. The dealer checked the car and wrote okay on a slip, we signed it and he kept the slip. He told us, the refund would be initiated through the same mode of payment i. E. Paytm and we would get back the money in 2-3 days. When we called the customer care, they repeatedly assured us of the refund as, according to them, the problem was from paytm end.

Then suddenly after some days of follow up, they sent us a mail saying that the rest of the amount has been deducted due to some bumper damage! There is no invoice of any damage too.

On 17th nov, i was connected to some senior customer care executive mr om thakur, who assured me to investigate and resolve the matter by 20th or 21st nov at max. When i tried to inquire the status on 20th nov, i was put on hold for half an hour and when connected finally, the executive was not having the ledger of my problem. I had to again go through the entire process of explaining him. He was clueless about the progress and when i asked to connect to senior executive, he made excuses like they have gone for lunch at 7:00 pm in the evening! He said that i would get a revert till the next day and very rudely disconnected the call. Since then, i haven't received a single piece of communication from them.

I am hopeless to get any kind of refund from them. This complaint is to aware the consumers about the cheating and poor consumer service of myles. I have already shifted to zoomcar and other alternatives. Any consumer reading this, should never go for myles and any company executive reading this, should know that they do not deserve to operate this business.

I demand strict action against such fraud and rude service providers.
